The challenge
Oliehoorn has been a beloved brand in the Netherlands for over 40 years, with a strong position in retail and hospitality. Producing over 12,000 kilos of mayonnaise and curry per hour, it’s not only a major player but also the most sustainable one with the B Corp certification. In a market dominated by large players, creating interaction and a preferred position with target audiences is not a given. Oliehoorn grew through retail and hospitality but had little direct interaction with end users. The ambition is to be less dependent on the shelf and to build direct relationships, community, and own channels.
